FLL Trajectory

What is the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE?

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international challenge that arouses young people interests on science and technology. FLL uses thematic challenges in order to involve youth between 10 and 16 years in investigation, problem resolution and science.

FLL participants
  • Design, build, try and program robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology.
  • Research and solve the same challenges as today’s  challenges.
  • Apply science and math concepts in real life.
  • Develop 21st century abilities and competencies  such as teamwork, problem solving  and communication.
  • They a¡enjoy and participate in sport like tournaments and celebrations

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE much more than robots!

The foundations of the program are the FLL values which emphasize learning from our teammates, friendly competition and contribution to society.

  • We are a team
  • We work to encounter solutions with our coaches help
  • We honor friendly competition spirit
  • What we discover is more important than what we win
  • We share our experiences
  • We show professional courtesy and coopertition (get used to this word!) in everything we do

We learn but we also… Have fun!

Our brief, but intense, trip in the FLL

FSIngenium Team first participated in the FLL Navarra tournament that took place in the Planetario of Pamplona and the Palacio de Congresos Baluarte on February 14 and 15 , 2015. That years challenge was about World Class. We won the Best Mechanical Design award but we didn’t get to go to nationals.

It was the following year, in 2016’s FLL Navarra, when our team achieved the Second Absolute award and got to participate in the nationals that had place in Girona. In the National FLL, we obtained the Third Absolute award which allowed us to participate in the St. Louis’s (Missouri) Mundial FLL. In that tournament we received the Best Mechanical Design … OF THE WORLD!!!

In the FLL Navarra 2017, we received the Innovation and Strategy award.

In February 2018 we won the FLL Navarra and therefore were able to compete in the Great National Final which took place the 10th and 11th of March in Logroño. There, we ranked first getting to participate in the World Festival  that took place from the 25th to the 28th of April. On top of that we were awarded with the Robot Behavior Award.
